Mission of Hope Back to School Supplies Collection
From now- August 2 we are collecting school supplies for our Mission of Hope School, James A. Cawood Elementary in Hazard, Kentucky. Drop off location is by the Fellowship Hall.
Items needed: Antibacterial wipes, Kleenex, band-aids, pencil boxes, dry eraser markers, Paper towels, copy paper
Adult Sized T-Shirt Collection
Our Sewing With A Purpose Ministry needs clean, adult-size t-shirts to make jump ropes for Operation Christmas Child Shoebox Initiative. Please drop off used, clean donations outside the Fellowship Hall.
Head to Toe
The first opportunity is Head to Toe on Saturday, August 1, from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm at the Life Center. FBCLC will provide new socks and underwear, haircuts, and a voucher for a new pair of shoes for 2000+ kids, Kindergarten -4th grade, from Lenoir City Schools and Loudon County Schools. We need volunteers to serve as greeters and organizers; help with setup and teardown; assist in the parking lot; host families; translate; and more.
